The Galco Great Alaskan shoulder holster for the Ruger Alaskan and Smith & Wesson N-Frame (brand part no. GA186) is a tan leather shoulder rig built to carry a large-frame revolver in an easily accessible crossdraw torso position. Galco designed it for protection when hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking in bear country, where a belt holster can be awkward under a pack. The holster component is fully lined with smooth leather, and the harness pivots at the attachment points for comfort while its 2-inch width at the shoulder spreads the weight of a large revolver more evenly. A Fastex-type buckle lets you quickly don or remove the whole system, and this rig fits chests up to 54 inches on the Ruger Alaskan at 2.25 inches and Smith & Wesson N-Frame .357 Model 327, .44 Model 629, and .45 Model 325 at 2.5 inches.
