The Galco Great Alaskan (brand part no. GA170) is a tan leather chest holster system built to carry a large-frame revolver diagonally across the torso, sized here for the S&W X-Frame 500 with a 4-inch barrel. It carries the handgun in an easily accessible crossdraw torso position, ideal for protection while hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking in bear country. The holster component is fully lined with smooth leather, and the harness pivots at its attachment points for comfort, with a 2-inch-wide shoulder strap that distributes weight effectively across a full day afield. A Fastex-type buckle allows for quick donning and removal, and the system fits chests up to 54 inches for right-handed carry.
