The APF Armory Varmint 2.0 in .204 Ruger is a purpose-built AR-15 varmint rifle, finished in OD green and assembled in Alexandria, Minnesota (APF part no. RI256OD). The .204 Ruger cartridge is a flat, fast round suited to prairie dogs, coyotes and steel, with light recoil so the shooter can watch impacts through the glass. APF builds the rifle around a 416 stainless steel barrel, a 15-inch M-LOK handguard and a Butcher-16 muzzle brake. A Magpul PRS-Lite stock and a drop-in flat trigger round out a rifle aimed at long varmint sessions from a bench or a bipod.
