The APF Varmint 2.0 (brand part no. RI256W) is an American-made AR-15 built by Alex Pro Firearms in Alexandria, Minnesota, chambered here in .204 Ruger and finished in a striking White Cerakote. Purpose-built for varmint hunting, it pairs a stainless steel bull barrel with a rifle-length gas system for flat-shooting accuracy on coyotes and other predators at extended range. The 22-inch barrel and free-float M-LOK handguard give it the reach and mounting real estate serious varmint hunters demand. This is a dedicated precision AR platform, not a general-purpose carbine.

Key Specifications

• Chambered in .204 Ruger, a flat-shooting varmint cartridge suited to long-range coyote and predator work.
• Built on a 22-inch 416 stainless steel barrel for the accuracy and heat resistance varmint shooters rely on during long strings of fire.
• Rifled with a 1:12 twist in stainless steel, matched to lighter .204 Ruger bullet weights for consistent stabilization.
• Fitted with a 15-inch M-LOK handguard that opens up mounting space for optics, bipods, and lights on low-light predator hunts.
• Equipped with a Butcher-16 muzzle brake to tame recoil and keep the sight picture on target for rapid follow-up shots.
• Runs a Nickel Boron-coated bolt carrier group for smoother, cleaner cycling shot after shot.
• Uses an APF 3.5-pound single-stage flat trigger for a crisp, consistent pull that helps wring out precision.
• Finished with a Magpul PRS stock and MOE grip for adjustable length of pull and ergonomic control on extended hunts.
• Coated in a bright White Cerakote finish, standing out from the more common tactical color options.
