The Patriot Ordnance Factory Renegade+ Complete Upper in 5.56x45mm NATO (brand part number 00907) is a fully assembled 16.5-inch direct impingement upper built to address the common weak points of standard DI systems. POF’s roller cam pin and patented heat sink barrel nut work together with a straight gas tube to reduce heat buildup, while the Dictator 9-position adjustable gas block gives shooters ultimate control for tuning ammo loads or running a suppressor. Finished in black nitride, this is a hard-use upper built for shooters who want more than a me-too carbine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a complete rifle? No, this is an upper receiver assembly only with no lower receiver included. It ships without an FFL transfer and needs a compatible AR-15 lower to complete a rifle.

What does the Dictator adjustable gas block do? It lets the shooter dial in gas flow for different ammo loads or when running a suppressor, giving finer control over the action’s cycling.

What is the benefit of the heat sink barrel nut? POF’s patented heat sink barrel nut works with the straight gas tube to pull heat away from key operating parts, reducing the heat buildup that affects standard direct impingement systems.
