The Pointer Acrius Youth Over/Under Shotgun, 20 Gauge, 26-Inch Barrel, Nickel Engraved is a scaled-down 20 gauge over/under from Pointer, sized for young or smaller-framed shooters (brand part no. KAR2026Y). The Acrius Youth model uses a 26-inch barrel, a 43-inch overall length and a 12.5-inch length of pull, against 28 inches, 45 inches and 14 inches on the full-size gun. Turkish walnut covers the stock and forend, and the barrels are chrome lined with a raised vent rib and a fiber optic sight. Five chokes ship with it, and a barrel selector, extractors and mechanical triggers keep the controls simple for someone learning the gun. This one is the nickel engraved version.

Key Specifications

• The gauge is 20 gauge, a mild-recoiling choice that suits growing shooters.
• The barrel length is 26 inches, shorter than the 28-inch adult Acrius so the gun balances for a smaller frame.
• The overall length is 43 inches on the Youth model, which keeps it manageable to mount and carry.
• The length of pull is 12.5 inches, set short for young or smaller shooters.
• The action is a break-open over/under, with two barrels stacked on one sight plane.
• The stock and forend are Turkish walnut, for natural grain and a classic feel.
• The barrels are chrome lined with a raised ventilated rib, which resists wear and gives a flat line to point along.
• The sight is a fiber optic bead, easy to pick up on a quick shot.
• Five chokes are included, so the pattern can be matched to the target as the shooter grows.
• A barrel selector, extractors and crisp mechanical triggers round out the controls.
