The Sierra MatchKing .30 Caliber 230 grain hollow-point boat-tail rifle bullet (Sierra part no. 2251C) is built for shooters chasing accuracy and extreme long-range performance at the heavy end of .30 caliber. A sleek 27-caliber elongated ogive combined with a final meplat-reducing pointing operation increases ballistic coefficient for better wind resistance and velocity retention downrange. A unique bearing-surface-to-ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in match rifle chamber throats, helping ensure precise bullet-to-bore alignment shot after shot.
