The Savage Arms A22 Pro Varmint .22 LR Rifle (Savage part no. 47217) puts a heavy, 22-inch varmint-profile barrel on Savage’s proven rimfire semi-auto action, giving shooters a dedicated platform for pest control and precision plinking alike. The threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or other muzzle device, and the 10+1 rotary-magazine feed keeps the action cycling smoothly shot after shot. Built for shooters who want more barrel and more stability than a standard sporter-profile .22, the A22 Pro Varmint bridges the gap between a casual rimfire and a serious varmint rig. It’s a natural fit for the back-40, the prairie-dog field, or a rimfire bench session.
