Sierra BlitzKing 39 gr rifle bullets in .204 in (.20 Caliber) (brand part no. 1039C) are built for explosive expansion on varmints and small game, carrying over the same accuracy standard from Sierra’s MatchKing line built on the same manufacturing process. A proprietary polymer tip compound and a thin jacket combine to open the bullet up fast on impact while still holding tight, match-grade tolerances downrange. This is a dedicated varmint-hunting bullet rather than a big-game load, sized for handloaders pushing .204 in rifles hard at extended range.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the BlitzKing bullet designed for? Varmint and small-game hunting where fast, explosive expansion matters more than deep penetration.

How many bullets come in a box? 500 bullets per box, sized for handloaders who load in volume for varmint season.

Does the ballistic coefficient change with velocity? Yes, Sierra publishes a stepped BC from 0.287 down to 0.210 as muzzle velocity drops from above 3600 fps to 1900 fps, so long-range dope should account for the step.
