Sierra’s Sierra MatchKing .30 Caliber 125gr HP Flat Base Bullet (brand part no. 2121) is a 125-grain Hollow Point Flat Base MatchKing bullet for reloaders assembling their own .30-caliber/.308 rifle cartridges ammunition. This lighter-weight MatchKing uses a flat base rather than a boat tail, giving handloaders a fast, accurate .308-diameter match option for shorter-range work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this loaded ammunition? No, it’s a component bullet only; you’ll need your own cases, powder, and primers to load finished .30-caliber/.308 rifle cartridges rounds.

What is this bullet best suited for? It’s a match bullet suited to shorter-range precision and target shooting, where its lighter weight and higher velocity potential are an advantage.

Why choose a flat base instead of a boat tail MatchKing? A flat base keeps the bullet simple and accurate at shorter ranges, where the boat tail’s long-range drag reduction matters less.
