The Sierra GameKing 6.5 Creedmoor 140gr Spitzer Boat Tail Bullets (Sierra part no. 1730) are 140gr 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles from Sierra’s GameKing line. GameKing is Sierra’s long-range hunting line, using a boat-tail base to hold velocity and striking energy downrange better than a flat-base hunting bullet. Each box holds 100 bullets, enough 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles to develop and confirm a load before committing to a production run. It’s a good fit for hunters loading rounds for deer, hogs, and similarly sized game at typical field ranges.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is this bullet built for? GameKing is a long-range hunting bullet designed to retain velocity and energy on medium and large game at extended distances.

Does the boat-tail base matter for hunting shots? Yes. The tapered base cuts drag versus a flat-base bullet, flattening trajectory and reducing wind drift on longer shots.

Does the box include brass, primers, or powder? No, this is a bullet only. You supply brass, primers, and powder to complete your handload.
