The Hornady SST 7mm 162gr rifle bullet (brand part no. 28452) is built at .284-inch diameter for 7mm-class cartridges, pairing a sleek polymer tip with a secant ogive boat-tail profile for a higher ballistic coefficient and flatter trajectory downrange. Hornady molds the SST’s InterLock ring directly into the jacket, locking the core in place so the bullet holds together and delivers tremendous shock on impact, particularly at higher velocities. That combination makes this 162-grain weight a strong choice for whitetail deer and similar-sized North American game out of 7mm rifles. It ships 100 to a box.
