The Hornady 7mm/.284 139 gr SST bullet (Hornady part no. 28202) pairs a polymer Super Shock Tip with a boat-tail secant ogive profile built for hunters who need both long-range ballistics and dependable expansion on impact. The tip drives rapid, consistent expansion even at extended range, while the InterLock ring inside the jacket keeps the core and jacket locked together so the bullet retains mass instead of coming apart.
