Sierra GameKing 6mm .243-Caliber 100-Grain Spitzer Boat Tail bullets (brand part no. 1560) are built for reloaders working with 6mm and .243 Winchester cartridges who want match-level aerodynamics on a hunting bullet. The boat-tail base sheds drag that a flat-base bullet can’t, so this 100-grain load holds velocity, energy, and a flatter trajectory further downrange than its weight alone would suggest, which matters on the longer shots deer hunters increasingly take. Sierra publishes a full ballistic coefficient curve for this bullet, from .430 at 2,800 feet per second and above down to .385 at reduced velocities, giving handloaders real data to build an accurate drop chart around.

Key Specifications

• Bullet caliber is 6mm (.243 inch), standard for 6mm and .243 Winchester cartridges.
• Each bullet weighs 100 grains, a proven deer-hunting weight in this caliber.
• The spitzer boat tail profile reduces drag for a flatter trajectory at extended range.
• Sectional density is rated at .242, supporting solid penetration for the bullet’s weight.
• Ballistic coefficient ranges from .430 at 2,800 feet per second and above down to .385 at 1,700 feet per second and below.
• Bullets are packaged 100 per box for a full season of handloading.
• Ships at approximately 1.4688 lb, light enough to keep freight costs down.
