Hornady Traditional Varmint .22 Cal 50gr Spire Point SX Bullets (Hornady part no. 2240) carry on the .22 caliber varmint bullet Hornady first built around Joyce Hornady’s original lead-core, match-grade copper jacket standard. This 50 grain spire point sx bullet is designed for classic varmint hunting rifles and performs well even at the lower velocities those guns generate, rather than needing a magnum case to open up correctly. Reloaders load it for prairie dog towns, coyote stands, and any varmint work where flat-shooting accuracy matters more than raw power. Find it filed with our reloading bullets lineup alongside the rest of Hornady’s component bullets.
