The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Compact in 6.5 Creedmoor (Winchester part no. 535201289) carries the Featherweight heritage in a smaller package. It is a short-action rifle with a 20-inch Featherweight profile barrel and a walnut stock cut to a 13-inch length of pull for smaller-framed shooters. The action has Pre-64 style controlled round feed, a three-position safety and a jeweled bolt body. At 6 pounds 8 ounces it is a light mountain rifle for fast, flat-shooting cartridges.
