The Winchester XPR Compact Scope Combo Rifle, 6.8 Western, 22-Inch Barrel, Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40 Scope is a compact bolt-action rifle combo chambered in 6.8 Western with a 22-inch barrel and a mounted Vortex Crossfire II scope (brand part no. 535737299). Winchester sizes the XPR down for smaller shooters and sends it out with the scope, rings and bases already mounted. The M.O.A. Trigger System, a nickel Teflon-coated bolt and a 3-round detachable box magazine round out the package. It gives a smaller-framed shooter a complete package in one purchase.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 6.8 Western, fed through a short action built for that cartridge.
• The barrel measures 22 inches with a sporter contour, which sets the balance of the rifle.
• The rifle is fitted with a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40 scope that carries a BDC reticle.
• Mounting comes by way of Weaver-style rings and bases, so the optic sits on the drilled and tapped receiver.
• The detachable box magazine holds 3 rounds, and a second magazine makes reloading a quick swap.
• The barrel and receiver carry a Perma-Cote finish, a tough non-reflective coating.
• The stock is a matte black composite stock with textured grip panels, built for grip in wet conditions.
• The rifling twist is 1-in-8-inch, the rate the 6.8 Western barrel is cut to.
• The receiver is drilled and tapped, which is how the rings and bases attach.
• Overall length is 41 1/4 inches, which helps when judging fit for a case or a blind.
