The Winchester SXP Upland Field in 12 gauge is a pump-action shotgun with a 26-inch blued, ventilated-rib barrel and a Turkish walnut stock (brand part no. 512480391). The satin-varnished walnut and blued steel give it the look of a traditional upland gun on Winchester’s modern inertia-assisted Super X pump action. Dual action bars and a four-lug rotary bolt keep the cycling smooth and the lockup secure, and a chrome-plated chamber and bore resist corrosion. A TruGlo fiber-optic front sight and three Invector-Plus choke tubes cover the range from grouse and quail to doves. For a hunter who wants a wood-and-blue pump that handles a day in the field, this Upland Field is a good fit.
