The Winchester SX4 Compact 20 gauge is the scaled-down SX4 built for shooters who find a standard stock too long (Winchester part no. 511230690). Winchester shortened the length of pull to 13 inches, an inch and a quarter under the full-size gun, and fitted a larger bolt handle and oversize bolt release that are easier to work with small hands. The 24-inch back-bored barrel keeps the gun quick to swing, and the self-adjusting Active Valve gas system cycles light field loads and 3-inch magnums alike. A TruGlo fiber-optic front sight and a recoil pad with Inflex Technology round out a gun that suits young hunters, smaller-framed adults and anyone who wants a light 20 gauge for upland birds and clays.
