The Wilson Combat EDC X9 2.0 9mm pistol (brand part no. 2EDCX-CP-9-OR) is a single-action carry gun built on Wilson’s X-frame, with a 4-inch fluted barrel and a 15+1 capacity in a grip about the size of a compact single-stack 1911. The frame is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the slide is cut for a red dot on the Trijicon RMR footprint, and an integrated accessory rail carries a light. Carry cuts and ball endmill cuts take the sharp edges off the slide and frame, and black G10 grips keep a firm hold when the hands are wet or gloved. A thumb safety gives the pistol the 1911-style manual of arms that Wilson shooters expect. For a shooter who wants a premium double-stack carry pistol already set up for an optic, this is the 4-inch black configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the slide ready for a red dot? Yes. The slide is optic-ready for Trijicon RMR footprint optics, so a compatible red dot mounts directly.

What size is the grip? Wilson machines the X-frame so the double-stack grip is about the size of a compact single-stack 1911.
