The Weatherby Mark V CarbonMark rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Grey FDE finish (brand part no. MCM01N65CMR4B) is a custom-built, stunningly precise rifle ready for any adventure, built around a 416R stainless steel match barrel roll-wrapped with a carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension for strength and reduced weight. Weatherby leaves 95% of the carbon fiber sleeve untouching the barrel, letting air foil around the steel to rapidly cool it while adding rigidity, which keeps this 24-inch barrel accurate through high shot counts. The 5/8×24 threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor, and the receiver, brake, and trigger guard wear FDE Cerakote while the bolt, bolt knob, and safety are finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. The black hand-laid, raised Monte Carlo fiberglass stock carries gray and tan sponge-pattern accents, and the rifle feeds from a 4+1-round magazine. Among fast-cooling precision bolt action rifles, this Mark V CarbonMark configuration favors shooters who want consistent accuracy through extended strings of fire.
