The Warne Maxima 2-Piece Scope Base for Browning A-Bolt, Matte (brand part no. M918918M) is a Warne Maxima steel base for Browning A-Bolt rifles and the other models Warne lists. Maxima bases are Warne’s strongest and most versatile mounting system, built from steel with a low Weaver-style profile and a full-width recoil slot. Warne makes the line to keep the scope solid and the open sights usable, so it suits a hunting rifle you carry and shoot in the field.

Key Specifications

• Warne lists the fit as Browning .22 Stalker, Micro Medallion, WSM, A-Bolt & A-Bolt II, A-Bolt .22, A-Bolt .22 Mag, Sako A7, Steyr SBS, Pro Hunter, so check your rifle against that list before ordering.
• This is a two-piece base, a front and rear base that mount separately to the receiver.
• Warne machines the base from steel, which gives it outstanding strength for a mount this low.
• The design is modeled on the Weaver system, a proven and versatile way to mount rings.
• The low profile lets you keep a proper cheek weld, and with Warne Maxima QD rings you can look over the bases to the open sights.
• A full-width recoil slot gives the recoil keys of Warne rings the maximum bearing surface.
• The finish is matte, a low-glare look that suits a hunting rifle.
• The listed weight is 1.4 oz, light enough that the base adds almost nothing to the rifle.
