The Thompson/Center Encore Pro Hunter Barrel (brand part no. 8220R) is a 26-inch stainless steel replacement barrel chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, built for shooters who want serious long-range reach from their Encore platform. Thompson/Center Arms designed the Encore system around swappable barrels, and this .300 Win Mag option turns an existing frame into a flat-shooting big-game rifle without buying a whole new gun. The stainless finish resists corrosion in tough field conditions, and the threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor for recoil control or sound reduction. It is a natural fit for elk, moose, and other large North American game where extended range and knockdown power matter.
