The Thompson Center Encore Hinge Pin (brand part no. 7090R) is the OEM pivot pin that holds the barrel to the frame on Thompson/Center break-action platforms, including the Pro Hunter. Machined from silver-finished steel for smooth, repeatable barrel swaps, it’s the small part that keeps a break-action rifle or pistol closing tight and locking up safely shot after shot. Any Encore or Pro Hunter owner rotating between barrels for hunting or range use needs a hinge pin that’s true to spec, and this one is a direct factory-style replacement.

Key Specifications

• Constructed from silver-finished steel for corrosion resistance and a smooth, low-friction pivot action.
• Engineered as a direct OEM-style replacement for Thompson/Center break-action frames, so fit and function match the factory original.
• Compatible with the Pro Hunter platform, making it easy to keep a barrel-swapping Encore-pattern gun in service.
• Functions as the barrel-to-frame pivot point, the single part that lets the action open and lock closed securely.
• Sized precisely to Encore-pattern actions, so it drops in without the filing or fitting generic replacement pins often need.
• A properly fitted hinge pin keeps barrel-to-frame lockup solid, preventing the wobble that develops as OEM pins wear from repeated barrel swaps.
