The ASP Talon Baton 60cm Airweight, Foam Grip, Button Release is an expandable duty baton from ASP in the 60cm size (brand part no. 22612). It opens with a quick upward or downward flick and uses ASP’s Disc Loc system, in which two opposing discs cam into an internal groove for a stable lockout. Retracting takes a single press of the button, so the baton closes straight into a scabbard or the hand. This configuration pairs a Airweight shaft with a foam grip, making it a straightforward fit for patrol, security and corrections work. ASP designed the Talon to reduce moving parts and to need no routine lubrication.
