The SureFire M340C Mini Scout Light Pro in tan is a compact 500-lumen long-gun WeaponLight that runs on a single 123A lithium battery (SureFire part no. M340C-TN-PRO). SureFire built it around a TIR-focused LED and a hybrid beam that gives positive identification at medium to long range with enough spill light to keep the surroundings in view. The Low-Profile Mount lets you slide the light along the rail to clear other accessories, and it weighs only 3.65 ounces with its battery. It suits carbines, home-defense rifles and any rail-equipped long gun that needs a small, rugged light.

Key Specifications

• Output is 500 lumens, enough light for close-range work and longer-range target identification from a single cell.
• Runtime is 1.0 hour of tactical-level light on the included battery, which sets how long you can train or work before swapping.
• Peak beam intensity is 7,600 candela, the figure that determines how much punch the center of the beam has at distance.
• Beam distance is rated at 175 meters, useful for judging what the light can identify across a field or lot.
• It uses one 123A lithium battery, which is included and easy to find, so a spare is simple to carry.
• Activation is by a Z68 click tailcap with momentary and constant-on pushbutton switching under a protective shroud.
• The Low-Profile Mount attaches to MIL-STD-1913 and M-LOK rails and both mounting hardware sets are included, which lets you fine-tune light position.
• The body is aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, a coating that resists scratches and corrosion in hard use.
• It is rated IPX7 for liquid ingress, so rain and brief immersion do not stop it.
• Overall length is 4.1 inches, short enough to stay out of the way on a handguard.
