The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount VIR Pro is a long gun light that puts 1,100 lumens of white light and 2,300 mW of infrared illumination in one rail-mounted body (Streamlight part no. 88138). Streamlight puts a mode selector on the head for IR, off and white, and an integrated cutoff keeps the white LED from coming on by accident while you work in IR. The Jack-Cap tail cap gives two ways to run it, either the push-button on the cap or the included remote pressure switch mounted on the handguard. This version ships with two CR123A lithium batteries, and the light is multi-fuel, so it also accepts Streamlight’s SL-B26 rechargeable battery pack. For a rifle set up for both night vision and white-light work, it covers both jobs with a single light.

Key Specifications

• IR output is 2,300 mW on high and 600 mW on low from a 940nm IR LED, for use with night vision.
• A head-mounted IR/off/white mode selector with an integrated cutoff prevents accidental white light while in IR mode.
• Power is multi-fuel: two CR123A lithium batteries (included) or one Streamlight SL-B26 rechargeable pack.
