The Springfield Armory M1A Loaded .308 Win rifle from Springfield Armory puts the custom upgrades M1A owners usually buy afterward onto the rifle from the factory (brand part no. MA9226). A 22-inch National Match medium-weight barrel, a National Match tuned two-stage trigger and match-grade sights come standard, all on a black composite stock. The trigger breaks at about 4.5 pounds, and a midline ambidextrous safety and reciprocating charging handle keep the controls familiar. At 9 pounds 3 ounces it is a practical long-range and service-rifle-style competition platform. It feeds from a 10-round magazine.
