The Springfield Armory Kuna pistol (brand part no. KN9069BLC) is a 9mm AR-pattern pistol built around a roller-delayed gas system, giving it a smoother recoil impulse than a standard blowback design in a compact 6.12-inch-barrel package. Springfield Armory builds the upper from 7075 aluminum and the lower from glass-filled polymer, and a multi-port muzzle brake on the M-LOK handguard tames muzzle rise. This configuration ships without a brace, and hybrid flip-up sights plus an ambidextrous safety round out the controls. Among Springfield’s other handguns, the Kuna favors shooters who want a modern, roller-delayed 9mm pistol platform ready for their own brace or stabilizing accessory.
