The Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine California Compliant is a pistol-caliber AR built to meet California requirements (Springfield Armory part no. STV91609BCA). Springfield Armory uses a direct blowback system for reliability, a 16-inch Melonite barrel and a full-length free-float M-Lok handguard. The California-compliant configuration adds a Strike Industries pistol grip and a Magpul fixed stock, and it feeds from a steel 10-round Colt-pattern magazine. It handles like a compact carbine for the range, training and home defense.
