The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C 9mm Pistol in OD Green is a compact, striker-fired duty pistol with an optic-ready slide and a 4-inch barrel (Springfield part no. EC9409G-U-15-PAC). Springfield Armory builds the Echelon around a serialized Central Operating Group that drops into a compact polymer frame, and this Gear Pac configuration ships with four 15-round magazines. The slide is milled to accept red dots through the Variable Interface System, so an optic mounts directly to the slide with no adapter plate stack. It is a good fit for concealed carry, a duty belt or a first red-dot pistol.
