The Speer Grand Slam .243 100gr Soft Point Bullets, 50 Count (Speer part no. 1222) is a component bullet for handloaders, not loaded ammunition. Speer designs the Grand Slam for big game, with a tapered, precision-drawn jacket and a long nose for flatter trajectories. It measures 0.243 inch (6.17 mm) in diameter and weighs 100 grains, and Speer packs 50 to the box. Internal jacket flutes allow consistent expansion while the bullet keeps most of its weight for deep penetration. Match it to published load data and a barrel of the right bore before you build a load.
