The SilencerCo ASR Muzzle Brake 3/4×24 .338 Cal is a three-port brake from SilencerCo that bolts to a rifle with a matching muzzle thread (brand part no. AC858). It redirects a portion of the propellant gas to counter recoil and reduce muzzle climb, so it earns its place on the rifle even with no suppressor attached. As an ASR muzzle device it accepts SilencerCo Active Spring Retention mounts, which allow quick, one-handed suppressor attachment and removal. This version is cut for 3/4×24 threads on .338 caliber hosts, and SilencerCo makes the ASR Muzzle Brake in other thread pitches and bore sizes.
