The Sig Sauer Romeo-X Compact 3 MOA Red Dot (brand part no. SORX1231) is an open-emitter reflex sight with a 3 MOA red dot reticle, built for the optic-ready P365 family and other compact pistols that take the Shield RMSc footprint. Sig forges the housing from 7075 aluminum and puts a distortion-free aspherical lens in front of the emitter. MOTAC motion-activated illumination stretches a single side-loading CR1632 to a rated 20,000 hours, and the low deck height co-witnesses with standard-height iron sights. For a carry pistol that needs a rugged dot from its own maker’s line, it is a straightforward choice.

Key Specifications

• The reticle is a 3 MOA red dot, small enough for precise holds and quick to pick up at close range.
• It is an open-emitter reflex design, a clear window with no enclosed housing around the lens.
• The housing is forged 7075 aluminum, a strong, light material for a carry-pistol optic.
• The footprint is Compact (Shield RMSc), which sets which slide cuts and adapter plates it mounts to.
• The battery is a side-loading CR1632 that is included, so it changes without removing the optic and losing zero.
• MOTAC motion-activated illumination gives a rated 20,000 hours of runtime by powering down when the pistol is still.
• There are 15 illumination settings, 12 for daylight and 3 for night vision, to match the light you are shooting in.
• The optic measures 1.62 inches long, 1.23 inches wide and 0.94 inch tall, a compact size for a concealed-carry slide.
• The objective lens is 24 mm, the window you look through to find the dot.
• The waterproofing rating is IPX-7, which covers rain and wet carry.
