Sierra MatchKing Rifle Bullets, 6.5mm/.264 140gr HPBT (500ct) (brand part no. 1740C) are built for the resurgence of interest the 6.5mm/.264 bore has enjoyed as rifle manufacturers keep releasing new 6.5x55mm sporters and similar chamberings. The #1740 140-grain hollow point boat tail is a superb competitor out to 1000 yards in medium- and high-capacity 6.5mm cartridges, which is exactly why competitive Highpower and Silhouette shooters have taken such an interest in this bore size. Sierra’s MatchKing engineering brings the thin, concentric jackets and tight weight tolerances the line is known for to this 6.5mm option. As with the rest of the MatchKing line, Sierra does not recommend this bullet for most hunting applications.
