Sierra MatchKing Rifle Bullets in .22 Caliber, 53 grain HP-Match (Sierra #1400, part no. 1400C) use a conventional flat-base design rather than a boat-tail, giving handloaders a second MatchKing option for .22 caliber precision work. In handguns chambered for 22 caliber cartridges, the #1400 often delivers superior accuracy in target competition, and it carries the same record-setting reputation as the rest of the MatchKing line. Sierra does not recommend MatchKing bullets for most hunting applications, since the design won’t reliably expand at hunting velocities the way a lighter-jacketed varmint bullet will. This 500-count box comes from Sierra‘s reloading bullets lineup.
