The Sierra MatchKing .22 Cal Bullets, 77 gr HP-BT (Sierra part no. 9377T) are Sierra‘s pre-eminent target bullets, sized at .224 in. and sold 50 to a box for handloaders building precision .22-caliber ammunition. Every MatchKing jacket is drawn to a tight 0.0003 in. maximum concentricity variation, and bullet weight is held to within 0.3 grain, the kind of consistency that separates a match bullet from an off-the-shelf projectile. The hollow point features a very small meplat for a high ballistic coefficient, and most of the design carries a boat-tail shape to further cut drag downrange. Sierra builds and recommends this bullet specifically for target shooting rather than hunting use.
