The Sierra Pro-Hunter 35 Cal Bullets, 200 gr Round Nose (Sierra part no. 2800) are Sierra‘s traditional flat-base hunting bullets for 35-caliber rifles, sold 50 to a box. Pro-Hunter bullets run medium to heavy weights for their caliber and Sierra designs the line for a combination of penetration and expansion on medium and heavy game animals, rather than the long-range, boat-tail construction of Sierra’s GameKing or MatchKing lines. The 200-grain round nose profile is a traditional hunting bullet shape, well suited to lever-action and other rifles built around a tubular magazine. It’s sold as a component bullet for handloaders building their own 35-caliber hunting ammunition.

Frequently Asked Questions

What game is this bullet built for? Sierra designs the Pro-Hunter line, including this 200-grain 35-caliber round nose, for penetration and expansion on medium and heavy game animals.

Why a round nose instead of a pointed bullet? The round-nose profile is a traditional hunting bullet shape that’s also safe to load in tubular-magazine rifles, where a pointed bullet tip resting against the primer ahead of it in the magazine is a safety concern.

How many bullets come in a box? 50 bullets per box.
