The Shield Arms Z9 Glock 43 9mm 9-Round Steel Magazine is a steel-bodied handgun magazine built specifically for the Glock 43 (Shield Arms part no. Z9-PM-9-PC). It’s the same overall length as an OEM Glock magazine fitted with a pinky-extension baseplate, yet it holds three additional rounds thanks to a redesigned internal geometry. The body is coated in Powercron, a cationic epoxy electrocoat finish that offers excellent corrosion resistance with a low-VOC, lead-free process, making it a smart pick for humid climates or shooters who sweat heavily on the range. Side-facing witness holes let you check remaining capacity at a glance, and the magazine is made in the USA to Shield Arms’ own tolerances rather than remanufactured OEM stock. It’s become one of the most popular capacity upgrades for Glock 43 owners who want more rounds without changing the pistol’s footprint.

Why choose the Powercron finish?

Powercron resists corrosion better than standard finishes, which Shield Arms recommends for humid environments or shooters who sweat heavily.

Is this a Glock factory magazine or a Shield Arms design?
