The Shadow Systems XR920 Elite 9mm threaded pistol (Shadow Systems part no. SS-3010) pairs a compact-length slide with a full-size 17+1 frame, so it comes up quickly from the holster without giving up capacity. Shadow Systems gives this version a threaded match-grade barrel in black, along with the patented optic cut, interchangeable backstraps and an extended beavertail with an aggressive trigger guard undercut. Directional serrations at the front, rear and top of the slide make it easy to run under stress, and a wrap-around grip texture holds in wet or gloved hands. It is a capable choice for duty, home defense or the range, especially if you plan to add a suppressor or a red dot.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 9mm, the most widely available defensive and training cartridge for a full-size pistol.
• Magazine capacity is 17+1, a full-size count that keeps the pistol useful for duty and home defense.
• Barrel length is 4.5 inches, and the match-grade barrel is conventionally rifled for consistent accuracy.
• The muzzle is threaded, so a suppressor or other muzzle device can be fitted without changing the barrel.
• The barrel is finished in black and spiral fluted, which trims weight and gives the slide a clean look.
• The slide carries a patented optic cut that accepts most pistol red dot footprints directly, so a plate is usually unnecessary.
• The trigger is a flat-faced aluminum design with a pull of 4.5 to 5.0 pounds, giving a crisp, tactile reset for follow-up shots.
• The grip uses interchangeable backstraps, letting you tune the grip angle to your natural point of aim.
• Slide serrations run front, rear and top, with thinned grasping areas for positive manipulation under stress.
• The pistol ships with two 17-round magazines and a zippered pistol rug, so it is ready for the range out of the box.
