The Shadow Systems DR920P Elite (brand part no. SS-2211-L) is a full-size 9mm pistol built around an integrated compensator that aligns automatically without set screws, machined to sit flush with the slide for a single-piece look. Shadow Systems fits a 4.5-inch spiral-fluted match-grade barrel finished in bronze TiCN, and the Elite slide adds directional serrations, a weight-optimizing window cut, and the company’s multi-footprint optic cut that mounts most red dots directly. The front sight rides on the compensator for faster shot-to-shot tracking, an enhanced loaded chamber indicator extractor gives a tactile chambered-round check, and because the comp system uses no threaded barrel, the design stays friendly in jurisdictions with threaded-barrel restrictions. Among semi-auto handguns, the DR920P Elite favors shooters who want comp-flat recoil in a duty-size gun.
