The Savage 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2 7mm PRC rifle (brand part no. 33018) is a lightweight right-hand hunting rifle with a 20-inch threaded, straight-fluted barrel and a black Hogue overmolded stock. Savage teamed with Hogue on this model: the full-coverage rubber overmold gives a sure grip in rain, snow and cold, and the Tungsten Cerakote on the barreled action seals out the weather. The barrel is button rifled in a heavy sporter contour, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set the pull between 2.5 and 6 pounds. Two-piece Weaver-style bases, a detachable box magazine and a three-position tang safety round out a rifle that is meant to be carried far and shot well. At 7 pounds it is light enough for long walks and still steady enough for a careful shot.
