The Sarsilmaz 2000 STS is a full-size 9mm double-action/single-action pistol (brand part no. SAR 2000ST) from SAR Arms. It is built on a CNC-machined forged steel frame and slide with a forged steel barrel, a construction that adds weight and takes some of the snap out of recoil. A manual safety, a firing pin block and a hammer block give it layered protection against an unintended discharge. With 17+1 capacity and a 4.5-inch barrel, it suits range days, home defense and duty-style use for shooters who prefer a traditional DA/SA trigger and a metal gun.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 9mm, an easy-to-find cartridge for both practice and defense.
• Capacity is 17+1, a full-capacity count for a steel-framed duty-size pistol.
• The barrel is 4.5 inches, forged from steel and crowned for improved accuracy.
• The action is double/single action, with a longer first pull and a lighter single-action pull for follow-up shots.
• A manual safety gives the shooter a positive way to secure the pistol.
• A firing pin block and hammer block add internal safeties that keep the pistol from firing unless the trigger is pulled.
• The frame and slide are CNC-machined forged steel, a durable build that dampens recoil.
• The finish is stainless, which resists corrosion better than a blued finish in humid carry conditions.
• Overall length is 8 inches and width is 1.4 inches, a full-size footprint that fills the hand.
• The pistol weighs 35.2 ounces unloaded, and that heft helps tame recoil.
