The SABRE Frontiersman 3-in-1 Bear Spray Holster keeps a Frontiersman bear spray canister ready at a moment’s notice on the trail (SABRE part no. H-3IN1-CH). It gives three ways to carry: a chest holster with adjustable straps for immediate access, a belt holster with a metal clip that slides on without taking your belt off, and a detachable carabiner for belt loops, bags and packs. A strong elastic sleeve grips the canister so it stays put on a hike. SABRE leaves out hook-and-loop closures entirely, so there is nothing to peel open and no loud rip when you reach for it. It fits both the 7.9 oz and 9.2 oz SABRE Frontiersman canisters, sold separately, and one size fits most adults.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the holster include bear spray? No. The bear spray is sold separately. The holster fits the 7.9 oz and 9.2 oz SABRE Frontiersman Bear Spray canisters.

Why does SABRE skip hook-and-loop closures? SABRE says hook-and-loop can make canisters hard to access and creates loud noises that can aggravate bears, so this holster relies on a strong elastic sleeve for quick, silent access instead.

What are the three ways to carry it? As a chest holster with adjustable straps, as a belt holster with a metal belt clip, or on the detachable carabiner clipped to belt loops, bags or packs.
