The Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .30 Carbine (MPN 0505) is a single-action revolver that channels the traditional western-style hand-filling grip into a comfortable, naturally pointing frame chambered in a fast, flat-shooting rifle cartridge. Ruger cold hammer-forges the 7.5-inch alloy steel barrel for ultra-precise rifling and long-term accuracy, fits a ramp front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight, and builds in a patented transfer bar mechanism with loading gate interlock for security against accidental discharge. Black checkered hard rubber grips complete the package. Among revolvers in the revolvers category, the .30 Carbine Blackhawk favors single-action shooters who want the flat trajectory of a carbine cartridge in a revolver platform.
