The Ruger Max-9 Long RD is a compact 9mm pistol with a 4-inch barrel and a factory-mounted, co-witnessed Ruger ReadyDot micro reflex sight (Ruger part no. 3521). It holds 12 rounds in the main magazine and ships with a 10-round magazine and a fingergrip extension as well. Ruger gives it a tritium fiber optic front sight, a drift-adjustable rear sight and a short, smooth trigger with a clean break and positive reset. A manual safety, an integrated trigger safety and an internal striker blocker provide layered protection, and an inspection port shows whether the chamber is loaded.
