The Red Star Ordnance BSR47 Bulgarian AKM Rifle in 7.62x39mm with Magpul MOE furniture (brand part no. BG47MP) is an AKM-pattern rifle built in Bulgaria and imported by Red Star Ordnance. It starts with a 1mm stamped AKM-spec receiver and a hammer-forged 16.3-inch barrel made by HS Produkt, finished in dark blue. US-made Magpul MOE AKM furniture gives it a modern look and feel, and the rifle ships with a detachable 30-round magazine. A slant brake on 14x1mm LH muzzle threads and an AKM-pattern side rail for optics round out a configuration that suits range days, training and general-purpose carbine use. At 6.4 pounds unloaded it stays easy to carry and easy to handle.
