The Rock Island Armory Rock Ultra FS Combo pistol in 9mm/22TCM9R (brand part no. 56636) is a dual-caliber 1911-platform pistol that lets shooters switch between the proprietary 22TCM9R and standard 9mm by swapping the included barrel and magazine, without needing a separate firearm. Armscor/Rock Island Armory serrates the slide for reliable manual manipulation, and a fiber optic front sight pairs with an adjustable rear for precise aiming in either chambering. The ambidextrous safety supports both right- and left-handed shooters, and the 5-inch barrel maximizes sight radius. Among dual-caliber semi-auto handguns, this Rock Ultra FS Combo configuration favors shooters who want two cartridge options in one 1911-pattern pistol.
