The Rock Island Baby Rock GI Standard pistol in .380 ACP with a black parkerized finish (brand part no. 51912) scales the classic 1911 profile down to a .380 ACP chambering, weighing just 1.62 pounds loaded. Armscor/Rock Island Armory equips the pistol with stable, low-profile angled sights for consistent accuracy, and a dovetail grip safety pairs with checkered polymer grips for a comfortable, secure hold. The steel frame includes a beavertail and a serrated slide for a sure grip when cycling the action. Among 1911-pattern semi-auto handguns, this Baby Rock configuration favors 1911 shooters who want familiar ergonomics in a lighter .380 ACP chambering.
