It’s built for shooters whose scope has tall turrets or a larger-belled scope body that would otherwise crowd a low-mounted red dot. The riser moves a mounted red dot sight 2.5mm further from the host scope’s centerline, adding just enough clearance to keep the sight picture clean. It’s available initially for the Trijicon RMR and includes longer flat-head 6-32 screws to mount the optic at the new height.
